The story
Hotel Revival’s rooftop venue gets the crowd looking out over Mount Vernon, but the real work happens downstairs. B-Side was designed as the hotel’s shadowy alter ego—a direct reference to vinyl flip sides, Baltimore, and a quiet counterweight to the hotel's rooftop spot, Topside. You won't find a standard door handle on the first floor. Instead, you get a metal token, drop it into a vintage jukebox, and wait for the surrounding wall panel to unlatch and swing inward.
Behind a set of heavy velvet drapes lies a compact micro-bar focused on spirit-forward cocktails, rare vintage pours, and small plates. Beyond the main bar, the space branches off into three private, sound-insulated karaoke rooms. Each room pays homage to a distinct era in music history, outfitted with plush seating, dual screens, and a table-side button to call drinks directly to your booth.
What it's like
You will ask the front desk or host for a token before slipping it into the jukebox slot to trigger the hidden wall door. Inside, the drapes muffle the hotel noise and your eyes need a moment to adjust to the dim lighting. Seating in the main lounge is limited to a small bar counter and a handful of booths, so it gets tight fast on Friday and Saturday nights. Go right at 7:00 PM on a weeknight for a quiet cocktail, or book a private karaoke room in advance if you want guaranteed space for a group.
