The story

Opened in August 2022 on 30th and Juniper in South Park, Mothership operates on a specific narrative premise: a deep-space research vessel has crash-landed on an uncharted alien jungle world, and rather than waiting for a rescue ship, the stranded crew chose to build a permanent tiki bar in the wreckage.
The commitment to worldbuilding earned Mothership an Orchid Award for Interior Design from the San Diego Architectural Foundation in 2024. Step through the concealed portal and you're inside an airlock-style hull beneath a cratered overhead canopy, lit by an undulating fiber-optic sky.
