Downstairs, the basement leaned hard into that dual heritage of underground banks and vintage apothecaries. You locate a subtle RX pharmacy sign, follow a dimly lit staircase into the subterranean concrete, and face a heavy wooden door with a iron-grated peephole. A quick knock brings a sliding panel, a brief glance from the barkeeper inside, and entry into a quiet room defined by exposed brick, heavy timber, and candlelight.
