The story
You won't find a commercial storefront or a neon sign pointing the way. Artist Candace Cole operates Kiss My Glass straight out of a private home studio west of Horsetooth Reservoir, hidden away in the quiet foothill pocket between Fort Collins and Loveland.
The entire operation is deliberately small-scale. Because the working area is set up inside a private residence, class size is capped at four people max. You sit at a compact workstation surrounded by sheets of raw material, learning kiln-formed glass cutting and fusing without having to fight for elbows, tools, or breathing room.
The fundamental intro class gets you scoring, snapping, and layering glass shapes into flat compositions. If you sign up for the intermediate session, Cole brings out the heavy machinery: wet saws and diamond-grit grinders to cut curves and polish edges for far more complex fused structures.
What it's like
There are no drop-in hours or regular public calendars here; you have to contact the studio directly with your requested dates to book a slot. Once you arrive at the foothill property, you're stepping into a calm, focused residential workshop. You'll spend your time fitting colored glass tiles and strips into a final layout. Keep in mind you won't take your work home when you leave: the raw assembly has to spend hours melting into a single piece inside the studio kiln, so you'll arrange to pick up your fired piece roughly a week later.
