The story

You pick a multi-piece pattern and pick through raw glass sheets in different colors, transparencies, and textures. Then you learn to score the glass with a diamond cutter, snap it cleanly across the line, grind down the razor edges, wrap each piece in adhesive copper tape, and solder the joints into a solid frame using a hot iron. You walk out after four and a half hours carrying a finished stained glass panel, not a project to finish at home.
