The story
Megan Morris opened Meraki Springs in March 2021 after a 22-year obsession with precious metal clay jewelry that took root during four years living in Wiesbaden, Germany. Rather than opening just another glass-case storefront along West Colorado Avenue, she set up a hybrid spot: part retail shop for over 30 local Colorado artisans and part working studio.
The business takes its name from the Greek concept of putting a piece of yourself into your work. Instead of sticking to a single craft, the space runs more than 30 rotating workshops, ranging from leather carving and tallow balm pouring to resin casting and ring forging.
