The story
Before it was a communal sweat room, 1114 Porter Road was the vintage shop Old Made Good, right next door to Vinyl Tap. The storefront was gutted in late 2025 and replaced with arched doorways, low-wattage dim lighting, and enough cedar paneling to turn a standard East Nashville commercial layout into a dense, heat-trapping cavern.
The setup strips away the usual upscale spa theater in favor of raw communal exposure. You sit shoulder-to-shoulder with up to twelve total strangers in heavy heat, cycling between hot cedar and cold plunge tubs. The weirder pivot happens once a month during their After Hours Listening Room: instead of hushed wellness ambient noise, they lock the room down and play a classic record from start to finish while everyone sits in the dark and bakes.
