The story
In 1966, while the rest of the country was preoccupied with nuclear drills and Cold War paranoia, an unassuming door labeled "International Exports Ltd." appeared in a Downtown alley. Behind it sat a hidden sanctuary built around espionage theatrics, operational cover stories, and covert drinking.
More than five decades later, the venue hasn't dropped the act. The interior is a sprawling, labyrinthine den packed with espionage gadgetry, secret passageways, mechanical gizmos, and phone booths that double as escape hatches. You didn't hear it from us, but the entire blueprint treats a night at the bar like a full-immersion field exercise.
Just keep your expectations calibrated when it comes to the kitchen. While the themed cocktails fit the operative motif, regular visitors will tell you straight that the food leans strictly toward standard pub food. You come here for the commitment to the bit, the secret doors, and the surveillance tricks—not a fine-dining experience.
