The Mud Hole
The Mud Hole grew out of a pottery class four friends took together in Three Forks, who came away wanting a welcoming clay space closer to home. The story
Most pottery spaces start either as massive municipal institutions or heavily scripted corporate craft franchises. The Mud Hole started out of pure highway fatigue. Four local friends were making the long drive down to Three Forks just to take a ceramics class together, realized Helena was missing an unpretentious, community-level clay space, and decided to build one themselves right on Cedar Street.
Tucked into Suite 2, the setup trades glossy retail polish for the cozy, working feel of a neighborhood maker club.
