The story

The room keeps things distinctly sci-fi and pop-culture-obsessed, rolling out small-batch Friday releases alongside mainstays like Spock's Brain IPA and Raspberry Cream Ale. Beyond casual drinking, the floor turns sharp on alternating Mondays when IFPA-ranked pinball tournaments bring serious competitors to battle on a lineup of vintage and modern machines.
What it's like
Finding the place means pulling into a dim Arvada industrial park about twenty minutes outside downtown Denver, where a plain storefront door opens into a low-key local hangout. Inside, neighborhood dogs stretch out on the floor while Skee-Ball rolls clatter against the chimes of pinball backglass. Bring cash—the machines strictly take quarters, from 25-cent Skee-Ball rounds to dollar pinball games—and grab a pint at the counter before claiming a spot on a classic cabinet.
